Sorry I haven't been on lately. We are in the middle of a move. Its only 8 miles from where we are but there is so much to be done. We plan on being in the new house on March 6, 2009. I will post pictures and up date later. Everyone here has had the flu and colds, so its hard to get in the mood to get everything done. Tomorrow Harley will be 14 and I am feeling old. Oh and today it is snowing like crazy and light and thunder to go with it. We are suppose to get about 6 inches before its over. Take care and pray for us all.

Hello to all and this month has been a crazy one but interesting. Last week I chased two German Shepard dogs that are both bigger than I am. The neighbor kept shooting his gun and I guess they broke their chain and got off. So they called the dog police ( that what we call him) and we had to show up to date shots and rabies shots and if not get fined. I was not happy. Then we couldn't find the dogs and was sure they shot them. They were gone for five days....then a boy in my son school called and said I know where your dogs are. We all thought no cause anyone that knows Rock , knows that everyone is scared of him. He acts like he would eat you to death. Well Kerry Jr and I rode to these people house which was five miles away and sure enough they were in her building. They had been feeding then and said the pound was called and they wouldn't let them take them cause they said they would put them down since they knew no one would take a dog 13 years old. Kerry was excited to have them home. Then I had children parents that didn't show for visits and that's always hard cause you don't know what to say or do. They just make it hard on the children. Like to kick their butts.... Well we all have had the flu and colds and I am still not over it but getting there. Yesterday the kids were out of school due to ice and no water at school. They are all up and getting ready for school today. Now we have frozen water and I am glad everyone had a bath last night. Well its good to know that the weekend is coming. Sorry its been so long but things here have just been nuts...School, kids and home inspections that are suppose to happen today. We have trying to get everything done with our inspections so that our liscense will continue with the foster care. We have three months but to be honest it takes that much. With all the paper work and inspections and physcial's there is a lot to be done and it cost money. There do reimburse you for some things but not all. Just to thank each of you who have called and been praying for Grannie Kinney. She is now doing better and they have put the feeding tube in her stomach and she is smiling and moving her head...she still can't talk but in time. Well just wanted to say thanks and I will get back with you all soon.

Up-Date on Grandma Kinney

Hello and thanks each person for praying for Grannie Kinney. She had a feeding tube in and she was not opening her eyes and but yesterday she opened her eyes and is smiling at people. The doctor said she wasn't going to make it through the surgery...isn't God good. He is in control. She was moved to a room of her own today and still isn't talking due to the tube but thank the Lord she is still here. We love her and want her to know that we are here and want the best for her. Please continue to pray and that she will be well soon. God Bless you all and hope to hear from you soon.

Our house....we love it here and God has blessed us so much....We are blessed to have six bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, sunroom, two baths and a full basement....So this way we can still keep kids....

Hello to all and just too let everyone know that Grandma Kinney had surgery this morning and did ok. Please continue to pray for her. God can do all things so if its his will maybe she will be home with us soon. I know that nothing is impossible.....Kerry has been working and its gotten cold here today and very windy. Kerry Jr still wont go and get his permant to drive. I dont know if he just dont want too or what. Harley is doing good and ready to go back to school. Chandler just is funny all time. His latest thing is that he can't eat nothing I cook. I tell him he has to try it. He says he would rather have peanut butter and jelly. NOT every meal I tell him. Jada has been helping me today dust. I hate that job but it must be done. She is good about helping. Our new kid Stephanie is doing good and so far so good. No problems with her. He is turning 13 in Feb. and we will have yet another teenager....lol need I say more. Roy will be leaving on Sunday to go back to Job Core. He hasnt done much of nothing except what I have made him so it will probably kill him when he does go back. As for me I have been pulling my hair out with all the contruction that been happening in the basement. Today they finally finished up and now working outside. They left a mess but its stuff I must go through and throw away. Well we love you all and hope to hear from you soon. Please everyone pray for Kerry grandma Irine Kinney. She is 86 and was still working. Two weeks ago on her way to work she was in a bad wreck and is in ICU. She needs our prayers. She was talking but now she isn't talking to anyone. God can make a miracle and help her to come out of it. We love her and want what is best for her.....Kerry Jr, Harley and I stayed last night and hope she will be home soon. Here is a picture of took of her and grandpaw three weeks before this happen....Pray for the family that God will be with each person.

Greeting everyone....here is Chandler and Jada's new brother: Logan . We were all excited to be a part of this miracle. He was born 11-18-2009 and was 9 pounds and 1 oz. He was 19 and 1/2 inches long. He is so sweet and beauiful and everyone was excited we are glad he is here.

Hello all....today is Monday and I just got home from court. Jada and Chandler will be with us for a little while longer. We go back to court in January. We were blessed to be able to go down and see everyone this weekend. We seen a lot of Kerry family and I got to see my mom and dad. We got to go to church and had a wonderful time. But its nice to be able to come home and get in your own bed. Chandler loved Martha and Carl and my mom and Dad he wants to know when we are going back to grandma's house. He asked me this morning when we were going tomorrow.....he is somthing. Jada and mom hit it off well and at 7 on Sunday morning they were in the kitchen talking and talking. Kerry Jr and Harley got to spend some time with Celia. But its nice to be home. The kids will be home tomorrow from school and we are planning to rake leaves. IF IT DOESN"T RAIN!! They are calling for it. Well there always stuff to be done around here. Take care...

The Davis Family is a family that can change daily. As of right now Kerry is 39, Barbara 39, and we have been married for 16 almost 17 years. I have to say we love each other very much and wouldn't trade each other for nothing. We have a son 15 Kerry Jr who is just finishing driver aid, Harley who is 13 who loves school and is a very indepent child. We also have Chandler 4, Jade 6 and they are brothers and sisters. We did have other children but they have either gone home or Roy our 17 year old went to Job Core. We live in NC on 5acrea of land. We have a sox bedroom two bath house. We love it here and the only thing we done like is that we are so far from family. Kerry works in Constrution and I am a stay at home mom. I love what we do but sometimes it is hard when you get a child and keep it for months and months and then they are gone. We love to attend church and always keep God first in our lives. There isn't much too tell other than we would love to see more of our family.....
